For those of you that are interested in learning about cool CSS transitions, make sure you check out this “Animatable” created by Lea Verou!

As quoted from her blog:

“It’s essentially a gallery of basic transitions. It aims to show how different animatable properties look when they transition and to broaden our horizons about which properties can be animated. Hover over the demos to see the animation in action, or click “Animate All” to see all of them (warning: might induce nausea, headache and seizures :-P ).

You can also click on it to see more details and get a permalink. Instead of clicking, you can also navigate with the arrow keys and press Esc to return to the main listing.”This is definitely an awesome resource, and I know that it’s helped to inspire me as well as give me some new ideas for themes and pages! Go to Snapwidget.com
Fill out the form
Click Preview to see your widget
Click Get Code to get the code snippet
Paste the snippet in your blog

Where do I paste the code?

The best part to put your instagram widget is on the sidebar. Go to the HTML area, and look for the sidebar div. You can always use the CTRL+F shortcut. Note that the sidebar div isn’t always labeled as <div id=’sidebar’>. Sometimes, theme makers use other words. In my case, i often use sidebar, sidebar1, left or right.

Some of my themes also have an extra content option on the appearance section, all you need is to paste the code there and your widget will appear on your sidebar.

Flickr customizable widget

Go to idgettr, type your user name and click find to get your flickr id
Copy the codes and edit the highlighted parts if you want. If not, just edit the flickr id and flickr number of post

box width: width of the sidebar
box height: estimated height of the flickr box
image width: flickr image width
image height: flickr image height
border radius: border radius in pixels (I used 80 px to make it circle)
opacity, edit with any integer (100 / 1 = Opaque 0 / 0 = transparent)
flickr number of post = the number of images you want to publisj
flickr id = the id you get from step 1

3. Paste the codes on the designated parts (CSS area/ body area)

Example: 1, 2
